At the EDF offices, we're gearing up for the 4th of July and planning our cookout menus down to the minute. Today's recipe for dressed up hot dogs borrows its flavors from classic sandwich pairings and couldn't be more low maintenance. Simply cook your dogs and then lay out a buffet of toppings -- then let your guests do the rest of the work!

Ready to hit the market? Here's what you should grab:

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 cooked hot dogs
  • 4 buns
  • Swiss cheese
  • Sauerkraut
