5 More 5 Ingredient Meals (Some of Which Take Just 5 Minutes!)

Posted by

Think about your favorite go-to meals. The ones that -- while you could make them in your sleep -- still make you feel happy, full, and utterly satisfied.

Got 'em? Now, this is just a guess, but we're going to assume that these dinners are easily remembered and simply prepared. In fact, we'll bet that being able to tick off a recipe's ingredients on the fingers of one hand is often what makes it appear so often on your dinner table. And we're right there with you. Sometimes, less really is more (especially when it means less grocery bags to carry).

Inspired by today's recipe for Pasta with Tomatoes and Capers, we've rounded up 5 more 5 ingredient meals that showcase flavor as much as they do ease:

Salmon and Scrambled Eggs. Even healthy breakfasts deserve to be upgraded (pancakes get enough love anyway). The dill in this recipe adds a burst of freshness without being overpowering. Served with toast, this kitchen quickie would also make a great evening meal.

Grilled Pizzas with Asparagus and Sun-Dried Tomatoes. Never grilled a pizza? Try it -- it's a total gamechanger. Since this recipe will cook so quickly, make sure all of your ingredients are prepped in advance so you can toss them on once the dough has cooked on one side.

Shrimp with Scallions and Crispy Potatoes. The combination of ever-so-slightly spicy shrimp and crunchy potatoes make this recipe a contender for our favorite week night meal. Even better news: the whole thing is ready in just 30 minutes!

Mozzarella and Ham Panini. Admit it, hot cheesy sandwiches are just better! The mozzarella in this dish lays like a warm blanket over the ham. Talk about comfort food.

Prosciutto-Wrapped Chicken Breast with Roasted Green Beans. This recipe is our jam! Smokey flavors infuse themselves into the chicken breast, resulting in an intensely juicy bird. And while it's simply prepared, it looks incredibly elegant.
