A classic negroni is an easy recipe to memorize: It's a 1-1-1 ratio of gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth. However, there's always room for customization: I always use a bit more gin and think a citrus-forward gin such as Plymouth or Bombay Sapphire is best. The drink can be served up, or on the rocks, and should be garnished with a wide strip of orange zest. To complete the cocktail like a pro, make sure to twist your orange peel (skin side towards the drink) over the glass to release it's fragrant oils, and rub the rim of the glass as well. Cheers!
