The first thing I said after I tried my first Danielle Roasted Coconut Chip was: “Wow… I want to put these on everything.” My mouth started watering at the prospect of coconut chips mixed into yogurt, crushed on top of ice cream, sprinkled on top of cupcakes, stirred into oatmeal, or baked into granola. If you’re a fan of the deep, nutty flavor of toasted coconut, you’ll love these chips as much as I do. Think toasted coconut flavor to the extreme: The thick pieces of shaved coconut are roasted to crunchy perfection, causing the natural oils of the coconut developing a delightfully intense nutty flavor, with the help of just a little salt and sugar. As someone who gravitates towards crunchy snacks, these chips are ideal, satisfying my cravings for sweet, crunchy, and even salty foods in one bite. As for eating these chips on everything, so far I’ve only been able to try them in yogurt (delicious), as we depleted our supply a little too quickly to allow for further experimentation.
