cocktail o'clock: pimm's cup

Posted by

On this beautiful Friday afternoon, mix up a refreshing Pimm's Cup: Fill a glass with ice, then stir in 1 1/2 oz Pimm's, 1 oz gin, and 1/2 oz lemon juice. Top with ginger ale or lemon-lime soda, and garnish with your choice of strawberries, mint, lemon, and sliced cucumber.

This recipe makes one drink, but you can easily scale it up for any number of people by simply combining the ice, alcohol, and lemon juice in a large pitcher, then letting everyone add soda and garnishes to taste. That's what we did today! Here we are enjoying a happy-hour toast. Happy weekend!

What's Pimm's? I'll google it. Anyway, the drink looks super refreshing for our hot weekend! You all look very happy.

Haven't tried it yet but sounds awesome! I work for the court system. Gonna work on a judicial order for evening cocktail hour. :-)
