    Getting tired of all the vegetarian and diet and "healthy" recipes and lifestyle television shows. This is NOT what you started out to be. Getting ready to drop all Martha Stewart 'stuff' from my entertainment lineup and reading material. I don't need you to tell me how I should live my life, feed my family, etc. Sometimes just want a new idea or some entertainment. Get real, Martha; not all of us want a veggie soup or a new salad. Stick with the household ideas and gardening hints.

    Wow Marjorie, so bitter. I'm pretty sure this is the everyday FOOD blog. Maybe you should stop reading food blogs if it upsets you so much to be introduced to anything new or different from your norm. Or perhaps if you tried a vegetarian or healthy recipe you'd be less likely to spew such unnecessary venom at something so innocuous.

    BTW - The vegetarian black bean chili sounds delicious!

    Dear Martha,
    That you for a new vegetarian recipe. I have been a vegetarian for the last 23 years before it was"cool." Thanks for a new twist on a classic that I can whip up for myself while the rest of the family will have meat added to theirs. I am sorry Marjorie that you may not find this dish appealing but it is nice to learn and try new things. My kids who are 8 and 5 love what we call "new dinner nite" where we eat something that we have not tried before. Sorry you may have an angry customer above but this family welcomes all types of different food that we can experiment with. Isn't that what cooking is all about?
