    I finally got around to reading some of the recipes in Jan/Feb Everyday Food. The recipe that tickled me the most was the Braised Chicken Thighs with winter vegetables. It says it serves 4. Made with 4 chicken thighs. Who eats one thigh? My husband eats 4 by himself and the boys eat at least 2 each! Most of the recipes made ridiculously small amounts.
    The slow cooker beef and tomato stew made enough for two people. It was good but will have to be tripled to feed a family of four.
