This morning, several of our favorite bloggers came over to our test kitchen to sample the Mother's Day menu from our May issue, and to meet our Editor-in-Chief Anna and the food editors. It was great to get together with so many charming and talented women to talk about food, and the value of a home-cooked meal in our lives. We would like to thank Karen and Lizzy of Sunday Suppers, Betsy of Cool Mom Picks, Isabel of Alpha Mom, Jennie of In Jennies Kitchen, and Olga of Sassy Radish for being such fabulous guests and taking the time to come hang out with us. A full pictorial account of the brunch below!

I made the new york cheese cake via Martha's Recipe and I only had a 9" pan. I put the rest of the mixture in the fridge. Can I make another crust and use the mixture from yesterday that I put in the fridge today?

I have made the maple-oatmeal cookies twice and twice they have flopped. They run and go flat after they go in the oven. love the flavor, what am I doing wrong? should it be 4 cups oats instead of 3?

I also made Martha's cheesecake and had some leftover mixture in a 9'' pan. I did just what you're thinking about doing and it worked out fine.
