a royal breakfast

Posted by

In honor of William and Kate's royal wedding that took place earlier this morning (yes, I did wake up at 3:00 am to watch it!), I decided to make a traditional English breakfast, fully equipped with eggs, roasted potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, bacon, and toast. Traditionally, a full English breakfast consists of several courses including a first course of cereals, juices, and fresh or stewed fruits,  a main course of meat and eggs (the meal I made this morning), and, not surprisingly, tea. And while many times the main course may contain baked beans or black pudding, I felt that I had enough on my plate already. So if you missed the morning's wedding festivities, curl up to some re-runs tonight and try whipping up an English breakfast for dinner. With these recipes for baked beans, roasted fingerling potatoes, grilled tomatoes, sauteed mushrooms, you'll feel simply royal.

    Hello,

My name is Raul, I too am obsessed with breakfast and I have a youtube cooking show called "Breakfast for Dinner." Myself and my partner Michael make crazy fantastical breakfasts and merge them with a cool Los Angeles night life vibe, would love you to check out our show, and if you like it, perhaps be a guest and critique our recipes or maybe offer some of your own for us to cook and feature. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks so much!
