I just read the simple lemon cake recipe in your new (April) issue. I can't figure out if you mean for me to put the liquid or the solids in the food processor after boiling the lemons. It says "Drain and transfer to a food processor," which sounds like you use the solids. So, throw away all the lemon water/juice?

Yes, you discard the lemon water. You process just the lemon slices with the butter (also make sure you discard any lemon seeds before processing).
