When I saw this recipe in the magazine, I thought it was a typo as it calls for four cans of tuna fish. The comment that it can be easily doubled is superfluous. I cannot imagine opening eight cans of tuna fish to put on eight slice of bread. Hardly a crowd!
I made tuna melts on the week end with one can of tuna, capers, mayo and cheese. It was enough for six Einglish muffins.
Does anyone know what day this is--November 15. It is America Recycles Day and Meatless Monday. A day of restraint.
