How cute is this little guy? I couldn't resist grabbing a couple at Manhattan's Balthazar Bakery this morning. The not-too-sweet pumpkin cake doughnut is topped with a simple confectioners' sugar glaze and studded with roasted pumpkin seeds (aka pepitas). Just the thing to put us in the mood for feasting tomorrow. If you like the look of these, you should take our Pumpkin Doughnut Muffins for a spin this weekend.
