a thanksgiving shower

Posted by

Many of us here at MSLO got an early preview of Thanksgiving dinner. The assistant managing editor at our sister publication Living is due right around turkey day and because of that she and her husband aren't planning a big meal. Martha Stewart crew to the rescue—we couldn't let her miss out on all the holiday trimmings, so Thanksgiving-dinner baby shower was planned in her honor. Stacey from gardening cooked the main event, a smoked turkey breast, and then others contributed sides and dessert. Cary was touched by the theme and delighted by the food. It felt like a real Thanksgiving dinner (complete with post-turkey tiredness that struck many of us in the afternoon).
