Cocktail o'clock: champagne cocktail

Soak a sugar cube with Angostura bitters and drop it into a flute of champagne or sparkling wine. Serve immediately.

    This cocktail is my go to celabretion treat but I find I have to "school"the server on how to request it. ONLY a cube of sugar to hold the bitters and "good" sparkling wine, not too sweet. Easy to make at home and make any time special...even Sunday football. Enjoy!
