I really like a toasted something in the morning: Bagel, english muffin, whole grain bread, anything I can use as a vehicle for nut butter or mashed avocado is high on my list of breakfast items. I'm really into Spelt Right's Artisan bagels and breads right now.You may have seen spelt bread or pasta in your health food store but they're becoming increasingly available in major supermarkets all over. Spelt (and spelt flour) is a great alternative to common wheat—lots of people who have trouble digesting common wheat have no problem with spelt and spelt products. Plus, spelt flour gives you the same great chewy texture you get using regular flour.
Spelt Right makes a pizza dough too that I'm pretty excited to try. Have you tried any wheat-free winners lately? We'd love to hear abou them!

Spelt Right is awesome! I am thrilled to hear you like it too because the more people know, the easier it will be for me to buy it in my local supermarket (selfish motivation I know). Especially the Pizza Dough - right now my local stores don't carry it so I have to drive to the bakery to get it direct. Sure would be great if I could get it nearby but I have to say the drive is worth it! LOVE Spelt Right Bakery!

I would like to know if Spelt Right uses potato starch or flour in their products. Thanks.

Hello Sharon,
Spelt Right does not use any potato starch or other fillers in our ingredients. Spelt Right products contain organic spelt flour (whole and sifted), water, extra virgin olive oil, yeast, natural sea salt, and a tiny bit of organic evaporated cane juice or organic brown rice syrup (depending upon the product). Certain products contain seeds. Spelt Right products contain no common wheat, no soy, no dairy, no eggs, no potatoes, no peanuts, no tree nuts. We are vegan and Kosher certified. Please feel free to contact our website with more questions. Beth at Spelt Right.

Try these spelt bagels and you'll never go back to wheat. Great texture. Great nutrition. Great taste!

I am so happy I discovered Spelt Right. I've been eating their bagels (Sesame Mucho, yum), pizza dough and breads and loving every bite. I am careful about what I eat and Spelt Right is totally allergy-friendly - no dairy, no soy, no nuts, etc - and everything I've tried tastes really good. Their story is pretty cool, too (www.speltrightbaking.com).

The secret is in the hull. The most digestible grains, resulting in less sensitivities and therefore less chronic mystery diseases, all have heavy hulls. Beth's son found the secret and so have I: Get off wheat and substitute with Beth's spelt!
