In a cocktail shaker, muddle 3 slices cucumber, 1/4 section of lime and 6 mint leaves with a muddler or wooden spoon. Add ice, 2 ounces each vodka and lime juice and an ounce of simple syrup and shake vigorously. Pour over ice, top with seltzer or club soda and a squeeze of lime.

Mmm I think it's past the start of cocktail hour. This fine concoction needs to be gripped firmly in my right hand right about now.

Thanks for the recipe! It gave me quite a strong craving. Ran to the supermarket earlier tonight just for the ingredients... But once home realized all I had was Grey Goose L'orange! Used rum instead, like a traditional Mojito. It's delicious! The cukes are refreshingly mild. Thanks again.
