The cutest cake I never baked! A few weeks ago we receive a beautiful box of kiwis from the folks at Zespri Kiwifruit. We ate most of them for breakfast that week but when I showed up to a cake-less birthday party (!!) I couldn't resist. Simple and sweet, like my favorite treats. My girlfried made me a "cake" that for the base was two layers of watermelon. I think separated by coconut, and maybe dusted with it.
In the distance you couldn't tell that Mother Nature had baked it.
