Meet my breakfast. Like the savory original, breakfast tabbouleh is light and satisfying and makes a great summer alternative to my usual hot cereal. Soak bulgur in apple cider or orange juice until tender, toss in your favorite fresh or dried fruit and a handful of toasted nuts. Squeeze on a little lemon juice and you have a healthy breakfast or snack you can eat cold with a dollop of yogurt or warmed with a little milk.
