If you've got mint taking over your garden, or just an extra bunch in the refrigerator, try this incredibly cooling and delicious drink. Remove the leaves from their stems and put into a heat-proof pitcher. Pour boiling water over and let steep at room temperature until cool. Add ice cubes and sweeten to taste with simple syrup. Fantastic on its own, "mint-o-nade" also makes a great base for a mixed drink.
