A Party of Peeps

We know spring has officially sprung less through daylight savings and more when we see these guys pop up on drugstore shelves nationwide. Love 'em or hate 'em, there's just something intriguing about these brightly colored marshmallow treats in the shape of cuddly critters. This spring, look for to a new addition to the already burgeoning Peep family—chocolate-covered Peeps! They might not be easy to find just yet, but hunt them down and give them a try. Here at EDF, we've had mixed reviews about whether or not coating a time-honored classic in melted chocolate really hits the mark. Or try making your own at home: Simply microwave chocolate in a glass bowl in 15 second increments, stirring, and dunk your Peep of choice. Let us know what you think—we want to hear more than a peep out of you!

I simply love peeps and can not tell you how happy I was when I heard about these new tasty delights. They are very hard to find, but worth it!!!

They may be adorable but so absolutely artificial and so unhealthy. I totally understand how cute they may appear but there are so very many other alternatives that are healthier for the kids. I would rather give plain chocolate chick like candy to my kids than these things packed with Sugar, Corn Syrup, Gelatin, Potassium Sorbate (a Preservative)Artificial Flavors, Yellow No. 5 (Tartrazine)Carnauba Wax.
