These delicious english muffins are our favorites for breakfast in the test kitchen. Come see why....
You can always find Food For Life english muffins in our refrigerator or freezer. They come in several varieties including cinnamon raisin. They are usually kept in the freezer section of grocery stores because they do not have any preservatives.
We love them for several reasons. First off, they are made with organic whole grains. These grains are sprouted before being used, which makes them far more nutritious than other English muffins and breads in general (sprouting the grains creates a complete protein with all of the essential amino acids). They have 5 or 6 times the amount of fiber and twice as much protein as a regular English muffin so they keep us full for quite a while.
But besides nutritional reasons....they are DELICIOUS! They have a great nutty taste when you toast them and the best, chewy, whole grain-y texture that make for a really satisfying breakfast.

Cinnamon raisin English muffin with peanut butter, pear and honey
I love them for breakfast with peanut butter or with a smear of goat cheese and some crumbled smoked trout. They are also great for ham or turkey sandwiches and are perfect for English muffin burgers.
What is your favorite way to enjoy English muffins?
